Chief Of Inspections, Detailed Inspector General
As a Detailed Inspector General (IG), serves as Inspections Branch Chief to the Army South Office of IG. As Command Coordinator for the Organizational Inspection Program (OIP), leads all coordination and synchronization efforts across Army South for all inspections and staff assistance visits, and serves as the Army South subject matter expert in Army inspection policy, ensuring compliance in managing the OIP. Responsible for planning, coordinating, resourcing, executing, and assessing all IG inspections. Leads IG inspection tams, consisting of several IGs plus a number of required topic specialists, in conducting issue-oriented general, special, or follow-up inspections for Army South throughout the USSOUTHCOM AOR. Provides assistance to military members, their dependents, military retirees, civilian employees and others having an interest in Army South matters. Provides hands-on teaching and training. Executes IG investigations/inquiries as directed by the Commanding General or the Command IG. In the absence of the CIG and the Deputy IG, serves fully as the senior IG.
