I am an R&D consultant and support contractor with a broad range of skills: algorithm development, technical analysis, software development, prototype hardware development, and team leadership. I am currently the principal at Acadia Controls, LLC. I’ve taught university engineering classes in control systems, flight vehicle design, mechanism design, and vector field theory as an adjunct lecturer at Boston University and the University of Southern Maine. As an instrument-rated commercial pilot I’m familiar with aircraft operation, avionics, and the national airspace system.My recent work includes creating prototype IR sensors and calibration devices, FPGA firmware testing, software development and the development of algorithms to characterize inter-sensor latency in multi-focal plane imaging sensors.I was V.P. of Engineering for a start-up company developing new technology for mass spectrometry. I led the development the time-to-digital conversion hardware and made technical contributions to the system's data recovery algorithms.
I've also worked as principal investigator developing algorithms for tracking and data fusion systems, and integrated GPS/Inertial navigation systems.
