My family has been involved in the Janitorial Business for as long as I can remember. I started off as a regular sub-contractor, where I learned manual labor skills such as, carpet cleaning, floor cleaning, strip and wax services, and how to effectively clean a facility. In 2019, I began looking for jobs outside of the Janitorial Service, and began working as a Material Handler for a company called Matheson Flight Extenders. After about a year of working as a Material Handler, I began my management career as a Shift Lead. During this time as a Shift Lead, I began to tone in on my Managerial Skills. This included team building, coaching up employees, and supervising the safety of the warehouse operation while also improving efficiency in the work place. In 2022, I began to look for bigger roles and I found myself in a mid-size company called Dallas Janitorial Services as an Operations Supervisor. This is where I've been currently working. Our main goal as a Janitorial Firm is to ensure retention of janitorial accounts and customer satisfaction. My managerial and customer service experience came in play, as our daily task consist of effectively solving customers janitorial needs, while also dealing with communication with front line cleaners. During this time, I've developed skills such as, customer service rep, sales rep, and as account retention specialist.
