Supervisor, Homeland Security, Safety, And Training
CurrentAssess current vulnerabilities and threats to our facilities which distribute electric, natural gas, water and waste water services to our 80,000 customers that are spread out over 4 counties. Assist in the management of physical security and access control measures. Assist in the training of state and federal regulations and assure compliance through aggressive safety policies, work guidelines and preventative action and response plans in emergency situations. Provide safety training and personal protective equipment to a work force of approximately 160 employees in a variety of safety sensitive job positions. Responsible for responding to accidents, crashes, injuries, other emergency incidents and potential liability claims to conduct internal investigations. Maintain a presence in the field operations of entire organization to be a liaison between field crews and senior level safety management.
