Transportation Security Manager
Current• Demonstrates consistent ability to work on and complete multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines and seeks out additional tasks; completes projects on or prior to their assigned deadlines on a consistent basis. • Manage and evaluate approximately 75 officer’s performances through recurring training-based evaluations and continuous observations within a live screening environment. • Accomplishes all responsibilities despite unexpected change and obstacles and consistently volunteers services, on short or limited notice, to meet unexpected challenges, circumstances and or situations. • Anticipates problems, identifies and evaluates potential sources of information; generates alternatives to solve problems where precedents may not exist. • Develops consistently well-organized studies, reports and briefs that convey technical or other complex information in an effective manner appropriate to the audience with minimal need for revision. • Identifies issues and provides solutions to subordinates while suggesting processes and system changes that reduce the possibility for error and increase the early identification of problems. • Communicates the importance of inclusion and a workplace free of discrimination in staff engagements while promptly addressing allegations of harassment, discrimination and retaliation by taking appropriate action. • Promotes a culture of risk management in the workplace where identification of risk is welcomed, and the use of risk management to mitigate risk and obtain value is understood. • Creates and implement innovative solutions to operational challenges identified within operations while tracking and reporting to leadership on the impact of implemented innovative solutions. • Improves efficiency and effectiveness of transportation security business and management serves by providing comprehensive leadership, oversight and support to programs.
