CWI – Enable Midstream - Pipeline Construction; inspection of pipeline construction in North Dakota Bakken field including but not limited to: inspection of welds and monitoring of welders to meet welding code, specifications and procedures, LACT, Launcher and Receiver installation, Weld Mapping of pipeline, monitor hydro tests, Utility inspection of ROW, topsoil, grading, pipe delivery/stringing and lower-in. Track and report the construction progress to Construction Manager, interfaced with NDT personnel reviewing X-ray and inspecting coating crews work.

Taught SMAW, MIG, & TIG welding processes and skills/techniques from basic fundamentals to 6G pipe certification/testing. Inspected and tested student weld joints for visible defects, discontinuities, correct dimensions, joint strength, bead formation, weld penetration and weld metallurgical properties. Performed stress tests on joints, using stress-testing methods and prepared students for 6G pipe and 3G structural certification testing.
