In 1995, I pioneered on the Internet with this Consulting Firm and developed/deployed database-driven apps for dynamic web content - years before Microsoft's Active Server Page (ASP) platform was conceived. I was responsible for programming the Content Management System (CMS) aka Web Content Manager (WCM) for New York University's School of Continuing Education's Online Course Catalog and The Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center RDBMS for their Physician's Referral Guide - both systems are online to this day.

In 1988, I started my professional career as Programmer/Analyst for IT startup SEC Online™ - the first Electronic Financial Data Provider to distribute Securities and Exchange Commission filings. For this ground-breaking firm I developed and optimized RDBMS applications and became certified in Rapid Application Development in Oracle and Progress 4GL/SQL after completing one of the earliest ITS (Intensive Training Seminar) classes offered in the United States – sponsored by Sequent Computer Systems.In my second year of employment I conceived and programmed a cost analysis system that calculated discrepancies in bills received from data-entry vendors. My final report identified over a quarter million dollars in overcharges during a nine month period – shortly thereafter I was promoted to Database Administrator.Over the next two years I was responsible for designing and managing all database applications for the company's production department, and the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) I built served as the index to 40,000 SEC filings for 5,000 New York and American Stock Exchange companies – it was distributed to every major financial network in the world: Dow Jones & Company, Standard & Poor's, Mead (Lexus/Nexus), Westlaw, and ICC/London.
