Closed Loop isn’t just a company, it’s a philosophy. Based on the belief that a linear system in a finite world is unworkable. We need to transition to a circular economy, one which draws on renewable inputs, and doesn’t treat the world as a trash can. We have been optimising the environmental performance of our clients for over 10 years. And we love what we do. Waste is a by-product of an imperfect system. Anything that goes to landfill represents a failure of design in some way. Whether it was the packaging, the storage, the use, or the disposal - somewhere along the way, something went wrong. There’s a hole in the system. Closed Loop finds out where that hole is, and fixes it.

Coordinating dozens of different environmental groups to deliver 3 days of programing, aimed at educating people about many different aspects of sustainability. Personally presented 3 ~ 1 hr presentations on 3 different days. Developing sustainability strategies from scratch for a fast growing Charity event for the Sarah Hilt Foundation. Managing sustainability operations for multiple large scale events – one day city concerts for ~80,000 people, and 4 day camping festivals for ~10,000 people. Working with different departments across the event to ensure optimal sustainability, working with food stallholders to ensure compliance with council regulations, Ensuring source separation at waste points, and engaging customers on issues of sustainability. Creating, launching, running, and editing an arts/music publication dedicated to supporting the local independent arts/music scene of Sydney and beyond.
