After Graduating from UQ in 1994, I did graduate work in Brisbane before traveling the world for a few years then settling back in Australia in 2000. Started at Bassett's (now AECOM) in June 2000 and was transferred to the Perth office in 2003 to help build the Perth office from the 5 people that were there then to over 100 in the building services team by 2013.I brought Revit MEP into the office in 2006, using it at first purely for coordination checks in plant rooms but always looking to develop the skills in Revit to be able to actually use it to enhance the engineering information - in other words to do true BIM, not just 3D modelling. After 13 years it became time to part ways with AECOM in Nov 2013 to try and move towards a BIM management/ BIM Consulting Career.I have done various presentations and LAB sessions on BIM and virtual mechanical design at the Revit Technology Conference in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore since 2011, and at the BIM DAY OUT in Perth as well as locally at IEAust functions among others. I am the current chairperson for BIMWest. I am also involved with "Collaborate ANZ".I was selected to be a co-author of "Mastering Autodesk Revit MEP 2015" (Sybex).
