Assisted members in building social and other life skills to increase interest in meaningful community activities and employment. Used personal lived experience/recovery story to inspire individuals to recovery from mental illness and other life challenges. Spent time teaching members to advocate for the services that they wanted and needed. Assisted and coached members to set and accomplish recovery/treatment goals. Collaborated with clinical teams to provide coordination of care which included concerns for member’s safety. Participated in clinical staff meetings as needed which included treatment planning meetings. Also, provided treatment planning recommendations. Facilitated, and oversaw the (CAC) Clinic Advisory Council at clinical site. Connected members to community based providers to help them with community integration and to help them further their personal recovery. Assisted clinical staff in identifying environments and approaches that were helpful to member’s recovery.

Associate Recovery Educator/ Peer Employment Training ProgramAccomplishments:•Coordinated Arizona State Certified Peer/Recovery Support Specialist CPSS/CRSS Program operations, resulting in a 200% increase in enrollment and revenue. •Identified and secured Workforce Investment Act (WIA) federal funding program administered by the State of Arizona, to fund candidates for CPSS/CRSS training program.
