I am a third year physics BSc student at the University of Liverpool. In my course I am developing my problem solving skills, while refining my mathematical abilities. I have done this through studying modules on Dynamics and Relativity, Thermal Physics and Properties of Matter, Wave Phenomena, Mathematics, Electromagnetism, Condensed Matter and Quantum, Nuclear and Particle Physics. I now have three years of python experience, through completing a computational physics module, where I have learned to code and have applied this knowledge to solve complex problems. Also, I have three years of lab experience in practical physics, where I have taken data and interpreted the findings. In my coding projects, I have modeled a nuclear fusion reactor and I am currently working on a project that investigates the decay of a muon while completing research alongside thisOne of my biggest passions is rugby, I train and play multiple times a week. Currently, I hold the position of President for the Liverpool University Rugby Club. In this role, I have negotiated sponsorship contracts, organised training sessions, matches, social events and the general running of the club day-to-day. I have ensured a large group of first year students have been integrated into the club, and the university, smoothly. I oversee a large committee, collaborating with them to ensure that the club's finances can be the best they can be, our social media outreach is strong and we can have a large charitable impact. Last year, I held the position of Social and Welfare Secretary for the Liverpool University Rugby Club. This role meant I organised social activities for upwards of a hundred students, ensuring everybody feels included and part of the team.
