My name is Daniel Oakes. I'm a Houston-based video editor whose passion is to tell meaningful stories that inspires change. I believe that video has the power to connect people in ways that few other mediums can. In 2025, I will graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s in Communication with an emphasis on Digital Production. Over the past 6 years, I've honed my skills in video editing by working on a variety of projects, from highlight reels to short documentaries. I've also had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients such as Make-A-Wish, Mass Mutual, and Second Baptist School.
