I co-founded a small recruitment agency start-up company, Flexperia, in line with 'Young enterprise UK' during my second year at university. I attended several networking events and won several awards including progression into the Young enterprise regional finals at Manchester Metropolitan University. Unfortunately, the company closed down largely due to my relocation to the USA and commitments elsewhere of myself and other team members.

As a trainee auditor of the BEIS team, I learnt how to inspect government financial accounts prudently while upholding professional integrity. I also began completing my professional ACA chartered accountancy examinations.
