CurrentTechnical Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues encountered by arena staff, event organizers, and guests. Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.System Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware upgrades, and system configurations, to optimize performance and ensure reliability of IT infrastructure. Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed to resolve issues and implement enhancements.Network Administration: Monitor and manage arena network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, routers, switches, and access points. Ensure network security and integrity through the implementation of firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.Audiovisual Support: Provide technical support for audiovisual equipment used in events and presentations, including sound systems, projectors, video screens, and lighting fixtures. Assist event organizers with setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment as needed.Ticketing and POS Systems: Administer and support ticketing systems, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, and cashless payment solutions used for concession sales and event ticketing. Troubleshoot issues related to ticket scanning, payment processing, and system integrations.Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards for IT security and privacy. Implement security measures such as access controls, encryption, and surveillance systems to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support procedures. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for arena staff on IT-related topics, including best practices for using technology systems effectively.
