Worked as a teaching assistant for a graduate-level course titled "Introduction to Computational and Quantitative Biology". Assisted students in setting up and using UNIX environments on their local machines, Assisted in course planning, designing assigned coursework, and taught a weekly hands-on recitation. This included preparing lecture materials introducing students to programming fundamentals, exploring various programming languages (Python, R, SQL), as well as walking students step-by-step through usage of command-line tools, culminating in an RNA-seq analysis pipeline from QC and alignment to differential expression analysis.

Analyzed the neural response of M. sexta caterpillars to thermal and mechanical stimuli using suction electrodes. Assisted analysis of the kinematics of M. sexta strike response using slow motion video and labelled newly discovered muscles in the proleg of M. sexta on micro-CT scans.

Studied the effects of the HCN2 ion channel knockout on telomere length in mice primarily using southern blots.
