I qualified as a mental health nurse in 2003 and worked variously in acute care settings including in-patient ward and Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams.I then worked as a Community Psychiatric Nurse before commencing my Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy Course at Derby University in 2010 and qualifying in 2012.From 2003 to the present time I have worked within the NHS at Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust.I currently work in the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Department as a Step 3 CBT Therapist. I have also worked for 18 months within the Step 4 Psychology Department treating more complex and chronic difficulties.I have also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Level 3.As part of my role I offer peer supervision and supervision to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.I am fully accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies and fully engaged in ongoing professional Development and clinical supervision.I also run my own private practise offering CBT, EMDR and clinical supervision. www.danielparkercbt.com
