I volunteered with this organisation on Mondays handing out food packs to some of Western Sydney's low socio-economic and homeless. It is also an opportunity to connect and engage with them as I get to conduct some observational & ethnographic social research. So far it's been quite a rewarding experience. I felt this specific form of volunteering aligns with my degree to some capacity, to provide me a confronting perspective on how some of our impoverished communities are doing and the different ways Aussies end up on the streets. The most difficult is seeing youth and young adults amongst them. All in all each week I get to meet some very wonderful humans!

In this role my tasks are to spread awareness & encourage members of the general public to help save lives through monthly donations towards the cause of Wateraid. Our mission is to provide clean safe drinking water, as well as, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest and most marginalised communities, in order to increase mortality rates.I have strengthen in my marketing and sales knowledge, including being presented with leadership opportunities for head a team on the field for the day.

With a completed Cert III - I've work at this Baulkham Hills facility for a year and a half now, providing support to nursing staff in order to deliver patient care in the acute setting. In this role I administer health medication, monitor and assist with direct patient care under direct supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with patient health and mobility, first aid, documentation reports, online system data logging etc. With this position I have attained furthered stronger skills in communication, liaising with clientele and a work team, time management, harmony maintenance, individual task responsibility etc.

This is a marketing organisation under leading head APPCO Australia where I worked as a sales brand ambassador for a U.K. fragrance label called Laurelle, trading in colognes and perfumes. The entire job involved direct face to face customer service in shopping malls.

This is a private owned phone business company where I worked for a year and a half from 2010 to mid-2011. The store is located in Woodcroft, where I worked part time offering various direct customer service. At this job I worked selling mobile phones, accessories, device repairs, setting customers up on preferred phone & internet plans and deals. I gained strong skills here working with not just single but multiple customers at one time. Due to this I carry skills to depressurise escalating situations whilst demonstrating effective interpersonal skills; this which I believe is an important attribute of communicating effectively whilst being gentle, yet traverse points across.
