Construction of 2160 MW hydropower plant. Installation of 12 Generators (General Electric)of 220 MVA, 7 transformers (Va Tech Elin) of 220 MVA and 12 Kaplan Turbines (Kvaerner) of180 MW with their corresponding auxiliary equipment. As plant owner (client), responsible forensuring that the contractor (GE-Kvaerner) performs the closing of all pending technical pointsfrom main contract in order to obtain the contract final acceptance.

In charge of the planning, programming, and supervision for the installation of 12 Generators(General Electric) of 220 MVA, 7 transformers (Va Tech Elin) of 220 MVA and 12 KaplanTurbines (Kvaerner) of 180 MW and all corresponding auxiliary equipment packages. Served asliaison and coordinator with the client (General Electric) in problem solving and technicalsupport during the installation, construction and problems encountered during the project.Planning, programming and supervision of the installation of two 350 ton and one 750 toncapacity bridge cranes. Managed a technical staff of 60 (engineers, superintendents,supervisors and technicians) and more than 300 craft in the mechanical, electrical, fitting andwelding, transportation and quality control areas. Worked in themechanical installation department as team leader in overhaul of 3x216 MW Francis turbines.In charge of to the modification of runner cones of 10x700 MW Francis turbines whicheliminated the problem of cavitation and the reinforcement of the operation rings to eliminatethe creations of cracks.

Participated in programming, planning and installation of piping systems-gas, steam, hydraulicand compressed air for the Midrex reactor of an iron ore pellet plant. Coordinated withsupervisors and craftsmen in all jobs related to fabrication, installation and testing of the pipingsystems.
