It helped build my soft skills and ability to problem solve under pressure while starting my development into finance with cash monitoring and a small degree of bookkeeping.During my time at Schloss I; trained multiple team members helping them to progress to supervisors and managers, identified areas for improvement in behind the scenes operations and implemented tools to improve efficiency, contributed to staff product training, and helped maintain a world class hospitality environment for guests and staff.

This position involved work on a project assessing the diversity of views on immigration within media samples. It involved both group and individual work, the group portion largely revolving around solving issues raised through the individual work and the sharing of ideas. The role I played in the project was the analysis of news articles for views related to immigrants and immigration related issues across several different UK news outlets. This was an insightful experience as it was my first real experience in the world of academic research and helped open my eyes to the processes involved, overall being an extremely valuable time and piece of work to be involved in.
