A highly passionate, motivated and versatile educator. I served 25 years in the British Army and have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in Information Communications sector. After leaving the military choosing a company and a role that fit my values was extremely important, I still wanted to be able to give back. I am currently involved in the development and delivery of a MSc programme and find it extremely rewarding. I’m currently an experienced Lecturer with a focus on Wireless Communications, from Second Generation (2G) communications to Fifth Generation (5G) communication systems, Microwave including Direct Light of Sight (DLoS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLoS). Smart technologies based around the Internet of Things (IoT), Networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.Honing leadership and management skills that were developed during my time in the military, whilst leading large teams of 90+ engineers to deliver strategic mission critical communications across the globe in demanding environments. Combining the skills and knowledge gained in these roles with the training roles I experienced set me up to be successful in my current role.
