As an SPS, I am expected to monitor the amount of customers in the store at all times, encourage social distancing and COVID-19 health precautions, and prevent merchandise loss. In this position, utilizing quick problem solving skills, time management, and work efficiency is key to being successful.

In this temporary position funded by the federal CARES Act grant, I assisted in the projection, review, and categorization of up to $17.2 million in CARES Act grant costs according to federal grant guidelines for periodic state expenditure reporting and auditing. I also monitored the progress and compliance of over 65 community partners and their CARES funding.
