As the Network & Security Administrator at Polk County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, I analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain computer and network systems for Court and Clerk related operations. I have a Secret Clearance and Comptia Security and Network+ certifications, demonstrating my proficiency in cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices. I also administer network security infrastructure systems, such as checkpoint firewalls and other security systems, as required.Before joining Polk County, I was a GCS Network Technician at the United States Air Force for over four years, where I gained extensive experience in satellite communications and cyber defense. I worked with spectrum analyzers, patch panels, KU and C-band communications, and coordinated with satellite controllers for RPA communications. I also provided help desk support and first level troubleshooting for base communications overseas. I have an associate's degree in electrical communications engineering from Community College of the Air Force, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree from Western Governors University. I am passionate about learning new technologies and enhancing my skills in cyber defense and technical support. I value teamwork, collaboration, and innovation, and I strive to contribute to the mission and vision of the organizations I work with.
