Dark-Box project:A full engineering project designed to sketch and construct a dark box to house light sensitive devices or material. The box was sketched using AutoCad software, then reviewed by engineers outside of the academia. Once the box was designed, the construction followed. The project also required obtaining background data of photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) and setting up apparatuses to house the PMTs temporarily. This gave me a opportunity to use oscilloscopes to view signals and use LabView software to obtain signal and sample the data. This project also was in conjunction with FermiLab's Mu2e experimentation. In which, data was obtained and presented to the Mu2e staff members. This included information and concepts from upper graduate levels. This was a great way to learn harder concepts and use a team building environment to critique work presented.
