Provides leadership to volunteers in a shared effort to build an effective organization of self-directed and active volunteers to favorably impact AARP public policy at the state and national level.5. Builds and maintains strong, productive relationships with Members of Congress, MOC district staff, state and local elected officials and maintains a non-partisan stance with respect to candidates, incumbents, political parties and public events.6. Represents AARP before policy makers and those who promulgate rules and regulations in the state.
