I am passionate about global affairs, music, and teaching. A proud alumni of CU Boulder, I graduated with a degree in International Affairs and a minor in Education in December 2014. I am currently looking to gain experience and pursue real world job opportunities to make myself more marketable before pursuing a Master's in Education or MBA a few years down the road. I have always been a fan of global history and affairs, and upon taking courses at CU Boulder, I discovered a passion for learning about how different countries, cultures, and ideologies interact and affect the global structure. My interest for education has always existed, but was not fostered until I began to realize the joys of teaching in my early twenties. I enjoy teaching anyone whether it be youth, adults, or colleagues. My privilege to teach has been a rewarding experience and is something worth pursuing. The world is filled with diversity and opportunity, all out there waiting to be discovered. Aside from my former role as an Operations Coordinator, I am also very involved with Music and Music Performance. I have been an active member in the percussion community since 2008 and am mostly self taught, growing from personal experiences. I was the section leader for the Cymbals in the CU Drumline for four consecutive years and was member and a section leader in the past for the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble in Denver, CO. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to teach the ensemble since 2016 and am always learning from my students with each passing season.
