Purchasing & Inventory Control - performs purchasing and stock control for departments. Analyses sales, inventory levels and estimated usages, anticipates and evaluates potential impacts on the production process, and determines supply quantities and delivery schedules. Controls and coordinates the movement of materials from stock to and from the factory floor. Searches, negotiates and recommends reliable products, vendors, prices and terms of sale. Develops and maintains a network of Asian vendors for our Canadian operations and US parent company. Travels to Asia to meet with vendors to ensure quality of product.Production Planning and Scheduling - analyses and records demand and productioncapacities with a view to recommending the most efficient and effective production schedule to the Plant Manager. Develops and monitors production schedules, track production orders, analyses this progress as well as current and projected sales’ demands and reports on manufacturing activity.Management - responsible for the daily management of 2 supervisors, 8 warehouse personnel, 1 administrative clerk and 39 factory staff.International Sales - responsible for developing new opportunities in the global market. Opened new customers in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, New Zealand and Guatemala.
