About Daniel Shipley
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading. I work on a novel multi-fluid approach to the parametrization of atmospheric convection, attempting to capture the coherent overturning structures of turbulent convection via partitioning the flow into multiple components. I also have a broad research interest in all aspects of turbulence in geophysical fluids.
