I am a passionate engineer with hands-on experience at the UNT Engineering Manufacturing Facility, where I am building experience in manufacturing processes. I maintained and improved machines like the horizontal band saw and CNC engraver. In one project, I expanded a CNC engraver's capabilities by adding a larger table and replacing the control board. I am pursuing certification in CNC Mill and Lathe operations to expand my machining and applied engineering skills.I believe practical experience with mechanical systems and manufacturing is essential for engineers aiming to design efficiently. For instance, many car engineers may design features without fully understanding the challenges mechanics face during repairs, leading to designs that are difficult to service. Understanding that multidisciplinary teams are key to effective engineering projects is crucial for all engineers.I am pursuing professional development outside of the standard education path with certificates from organizations like LinkedIn Learning and Forage. These certificates better prepare me for projects and opportunities. I am also studying Japanese to broaden my perspective and adapt to the increasing demands of a connected world. Additionally, my hobbies in PC building and carpentry enhance my practical skills and attention to detail.
