Dan's passion for finance and determination for learning from the past has been instrumental in helping him navigate the technology bubble of the late 1990's, real estate bubble and most recently the credit bubble bursting in 2008. Dan’s primary focus is in helping affluent families and select institutional clients develop investment policy statements and investment strategies that fuse discipline with goal-based investing. Dan harnesses his knowledge of the financial markets to provide top class investments and a multi-generational service model. Dan developed a passion for the financial markets and the importance of family financial planning while discussing stocks, interest rates, inflation and how it all interacted together with his Father. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in economics, Dan began his career as a financial advisor with Dean Witter in 1992. Dan now has over 23 years of professional experience helping clients navigate turbulent markets and achieve their financial goals. His investment philosophy is centered on the fundamentals of value investing; however, he respects the power of human behavior driving values to extremes both high and low.
