During my service with the 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment (SFSG). I was involved in planning and executing long foot and mobile operations on deployments to Afghanistan with the Special Forces Support Group and Teir 1 UKSF conducting High Value Target arrests/ technical and deliberate operations. Throughout my career I have been highly involved in the training and development of other British troops and foreign soldiers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.From section attacks, maritime and land based insertion skills and also close quarter room clearance.Moving on from the rifle company I attended a Physical Training Instructor course gaining top student which enabled me to become unit PTI ensuring the Battalion was operationally fit and ready.This gave me the responsibility to work and communicate with senior ranks from CSM - Commanding Officer delivering structured training programmes for Promotional courses,Pre Special Forces Cardres, and Pre Operational fitness assesments. I would describe myself as highly confident, I have outstanding leadership capabilities and strong organisational skills which have been acquired in complex situations. I am a effective communicator who adapts quickly to any role given, with excellent multi-tasking, man-management and planning ability. I have a positive, enthusiastic and creative personality and enjoy interacting with people to develop an excellent working relationship.
