The EMTF Coordinator and Response Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of the regional Emergency Medical Task Force projects, training, recruiting and response. Manages the diverse operational capabilities of the 12 EMTF components and actively works to enhance them.Provides oversight for the planning and implementation of the regional Emergency Medical Task Force projects, training, recruiting and response.Primary 24/7 point of contact for all information requests from regional partners, state agencies, EMTF members and EMTF regions regarding EMTF-7.Leads operational, planning, logistics and fiscal objectives of the program.Strong collaboration with Emergency Preparedness staff, local partners and participating/host agencies to execute MOAs between the EMTF-7 and the individual agencies for personnel, equipment and supplies.Serves as the primary point of contact for EMTF program for supply equipment ordering and accountability, to include durable, expendable and fixed assets.Plans, coordinates and participates in drills and exercises within CATRAC and EMTF, as well to conduct after-action reports and documentation of the event.Coordinated state/regional responses and tracked all assets and members during deployment such as Smokehouse Creek Fire, Hurricane Beryl, and the state’s first EMAC deployment to Louisiana.Develop and update as required response activation plans and notification systems.Implemented process improvements for tracking assets times, backfill, etc. as needed for reimbursement purposes to meet state requirements. Maintains situational awareness and provides real-time threat assessment based off a multitude of intelligence sources. These sources provided a state of elevated posture for responses to the UT protests, Solar Eclipse 2024, Christus Santa Rosa Hospital Collapse, and the recent Belton/Temple tornado.
