Purchasing Agent for the procurement of all the chemical raws used in the ingredients of the approved formulas for the production of finished products. The approved list of chemical raws consists of over 1,500 various raw material items purchased from a source of supply of over 150 suppliers. Responsibilities include working with R&D for the qualification of all the chemical raws purchased from external supply sources that can meet the leadtimes set for the production of finished products. As the primary point of contact to all external suppliers, the Purchasing Agent's role would include job functions such as Supplier Negotiations, Formal Pricing with Firm Duration Dates, T&Cs, Leadtimes, RFP/RFI Formal Bid Process, Cost Factors, Delivery of Material, etc. as reflected in all of the purchase order agreements issued to the awarded suppliers.

Held various management procurement positions throughout my career with AT&T, including the role as the Resident Manger to the AT&T Clark Shop facility responsible for the manufacturing of all undersea cable repeater units used to transmit the speed of telecommunications data worldwide. As the Resident Manager, responsibilities would include the procurement of all the raws, electrical components, lab equipment, and the various services required by the plant to produce the repeater units in accordance to the launching of all undersea cable lines. The primary role as the Resident Manger would include the awards of business to all external suppliers based on the results of formal bid process, competitive pricing, and contractual agreements of the Company.
