Responsible for Torque and Process Equipment setup and support, as well as Network installation during the 2009 DS launches. For the 3 years, I’ve traveled from plant to plant handling the installation, configuration, and implementation of any equipment which communicates data across the plant Networks. In addition to the equipment, I have planned and directed the Network installation for all of the new devices.I was also responsible for the Programming and PLC setup and troubleshooting for all robots, Conveyors, and related Plant systemation.• PLC-5 Driver Installation, file creation, memory expansion, and communication configuration, via Allen Bradley 6200 software for the assembly shop conveyors.• Assembled Factory Information System ASCII files for new conveyor process equipment in compliance with DaimlerChrysler spec.• Debugged existing Factory Information System ASCII files for conveyor status messages to conform to DaimlerChrysler spec.• Physically tested all conveyor safety faults to verify functionality and their respective Factory Information System conveyor status updates.• Made necessary conveyor logic changes to correct process errors during the testing phase of the new model year launch.
