20+ years denominational work. Began my church organization career at the North American Division as one of two End User Desktop Support Specialists. Responsibilities included implementing and maintaining a hardware refresh cycle, troubleshooting Microsoft Office and other various applications. Promoted to Network Administrator after three years. Highlights include: Implemented and migrated server infrastructure into a VMWare vCenter environment, implemented a Juniper Network switch infrastructure, and Multiple Exchange upgrades. Transferred to the Florida Conference after 13 years. Initial projects were to design and implement a network infrastructure for the soon to be moved into building, physical network including MDF, IDFs, wifi infrastructure, phone system, security cameras, a/v integration as well as video conferencing. Was responsible for Exchange on-prem, VMWare vCenter, Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS (internal and external), Barracuda SMTP email gateway, Fortinet Fortigate appliance, Nimble SAN solution, HP/Aruba networking and wifi, Veeam on prem disk to disk and Cloud backup solution, ShoreTel phone system, door access security, NTware/Canon copy accounting system, and general fix it guy for the office. Promoted to Director of IT July 2023. Currently, manage a team of 6 people. Tasks and duties include budgeting, contract management, disaster and recovery plans, adopting a security framework, M365 migration, implementing an IT lifecycle plan, and creating and maintaining organizational IT policies and procedures.
