I was born in Hammond, Louisiana in May of 1999. The first 22 years of my life were spent in this same small town up until I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021. Upon graduation I started working full time for the Louisiana Office of State Procurement as a State Procurement Analyst. Soon after, I left the comfort of small town Hammond, Louisiana to begin my career. I am always up for a challenge. Few good things in life are given rather than earned and I am always up for the challenge to earn the good things. In my current position as a State Procurement Analyst, I face many pricing, customer service, and sourcing challenges daily. It has truly been a wonderful experience learning and solving the challenges of the industry that I am working in. During my 4 years in college (and my final year of high school) I worked for Chick-Fil-A, which played a pivotal part in my professional development. This job taught me how to carry myself with confidence in a professional environment and how to happily serve customers, coworkers, and directors.Since working for the Office of State Procurement I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in additional training courses to improve my skills and abilities. Classes that I have participated in include: Excel Intermediate, Excel Advanced, Business Writing, and I am currently earning the LSU Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Certificate. In addition to these, I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Access.
