Manage rosters, travel arrangements and leave requests for on-site Emergency Response Team.-Plan and Implement Skills and Maintenance Training-Develop Training and Competency Matrix-Liaise with external agencies and contractors for the purposes of MOU and equipment maintenance and purchasing.- Emergency Prevention Activities, (conducting audits, inspections and site monitoring, safety supervision and other prevention activities) - Emergency Preparedness Activities, (inspect and test emergency response equipment and vehicles, conduct nationally recognised emergency response training, emergency response exercises, emergency preparedness plans, permits, risk assessments, writing of procedures and fire/rescue pre-plans) - Emergency Response Activities, (Drive appliances and operate emergency response equipment when responding to onsite and offsite emergencies such as fire, HAZMAT incidents, medical incidents & rescue incidents)-Plan, Organise and Conduct drills and exercises with Emergency Response Team, Client and Contractors revolving around potential incidents of the Major Hazard Facility and in line with Emergency Response and Incident Management Guides.-Liaise with client and principal contractor with regards to all operational requirements and future direction.

Boddington Gold Mine

Provide emergency response for Newmont Mining at Boddington Gold Mine, Western Australia. This includes;- Medical (advanced first aid, resuscitation and patient transport to hospital/med evac)- Fire Control ( structural, industrial, wildfire )- Spill and Hazmat Response- Rescue ( from water, heights, confined space, trench, vehicle and mobile plant ).Provide site services such as;- Review and provide technical advice to contractor personnel on rescue plans for confined space entry and working at heights as part of PTW system.- Initial gas tests for contractors working in confined spaces or potential hazardous atmospheres.- Undertake environmental incidents involving fauna that would involve relocating venomous snakes or other hazardous fauna from worksites and accommodation areas and provide services for the protection of rare and endangered fauna.- Toolbox talks for contractor personnel on; emergency response capabilities, fire fighting equipment training, oil spill response, fire wardens, basic first aid, rescue equipment.- Training and continuous improvement of my ERT team members.Fire Safety Services;- Test and isolate FIP systems site wide- Conduct building inspections to ensure compliance with the relevant Fire Safety Building Codes of Australia- Conduct performance audits of firefighting systems.- Undertake regular rescue drills with on site contractors.- Conduct regular evacuation drills at work and accommodation facilities.- Prepare emergency plans for response to bulk Dangerous Goods incidents.
