At data Artisans I organized Flink Forward, the premier conference for the open source software project Apache Flink, in both Berlin and San Francisco each year. As project manager I was responsible for every aspect of the event including sponsorship, organization of venues and external vendors, marketing and promotion, and speaker and attendee management. Moreover, I was co-organizer of the Apache Flink Meetups in Berlin, Munich, Taiwan, Seattle, Tel-Aviv and the Bay Area.
