Senior Lecturer in the Law School at Macquarie University, Honorary Lecturer at University College London. Daniela has taught intellectual property law, comparative copyright law and contemporary aspects of intellectual property courses. She is author of Copyright and Collective Authorship: Locating the Authors of Collaborative Work (CUP, 2019). Daniela is admitted to legal practice in Australia where she spent some years working in large commercial law firm.Daniela’s research explores the intersection of law, technology, and culture. She is interested in collaborative authorship, artificial intelligence, the disruption new technology has brought to copyright law, regulation of the internet, the interaction between law and social norms, the international intellectual property system, philosophy of intellectual property, and the regulation of cultural property. Her work embraces comparative and inter-disciplinary methods and she is keen to engage directly with stakeholders.
