About Daniela Marin

Daniela Marin is a fourth-year PhD Candidate at Stanford University. Daniela holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. in Physics through a dual-degree program with Columbia University and William Jewell College. Daniela has worked on various research projects including bio-based polymer synthesis and characterization at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, atmospheric aerosol characterization at Columbia University, and optical visualization techniques at William Jewell College. On her free time, she enjoys training students and researchers on the scanning electron microscope (SEM), a powerful visualization technique able to image on the nanoscale. She is the co-president of the Stanford Hydrogen Initiative's student club (Stanford Hydrogen Club), where she organizes lab tours and educational site visits to start ups, organizations and hubs that have goals for global decarbonization. Additionally she is open to enthusiastic to connect with & support other first generation low income students (FGLI) (high school, undergraduate, and graduate).
