The Aiken County Homeless Coalition (ACHC) began in 2015 when a small group of concerned citizens met to consider the question, "Who advocates for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in Aiken?" The ACHC has since gone through many growth periods, most recently during the very successful PIT (Point-in-Time) Count that took place earlier this year where 8X the data of those around us was collect compared to previous PIT Counts. I was proud to serve as the project manager for that PIT Count, and subsequently the Board of Directors invited me to formally join the Board of Directors and do what I can to help those less fortunate or needing assistance in and around Aiken County.
