My consulting and software development business is now my primary focus and concern. I do custom web development, software development and web hosting.

• Management: Managed team of between 4 and 6 software developers (fulltime and contract). Trained and certified thru a Supervisor Certificate program by Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC).• Development Environment Setup: Setup and oversee internal development environment (consisting of GitHub for source control, Cruise Control.NET for automated builds and Powershell for deployment via Web Deploy).

• Development: Developed ASP.NET MVC (1.0, 2.0 & 3.0) applications. Types of applications include E-Commerce (Global ID, Checkout) with backend functions built into SharePoint 2007, Company programs (see attached list of sites) and Transportation planning & management (TRIPS). • Development: Developed SharePoint-integrated applications. Created event tracking and management application for Sharepoint 2007/2010. Created Silverlight plug-in application to manage users for E-Commerce system (assign bills, edit and search user info, manage roles, etc.) for SharePoint 2010.• Development: Developed ASP.NET WebForms applications for both internal intranet sites and external websites.• Development: Developed ColdFusion/Java applications such as a custom survey creation system, credit card kiosk application, secure areas for existing web applications to facilitate reports and file sharing for authorized users, creation of website portals for front end applications. • Administration: Administer all of DRCOGs software systems including IIS, SharePoint, Apache, SQL servers and all software listed above (and plenty more past that).• CMS: Sharepoint (2003, 2007, 2010), Drupal (6.0, 7.0), Wordpress and ColdFusion & Javascript-based CMS.• Report Writing: Created custom reporting tool for integration of reports into public planning documents required to receive Federal funding for transportation projects. Primary reporting work in Server Reporting Services 2008 (2.0 and 3.0) and Crystal Reports XI.

• Development: Developed productivity-enhancing internal tools for Unicode to bitmap conversion and implementation (BitmapBlaster). This tool saved 100s of man-hours per election, and was written in C# using Visual Studio 2005.• Report Writer: Created reporting tools using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Crystal Reports 9.0 and SQL Server 2000. This program produced over 30 custom reports using a managed datastore of a live database. Program still in use in numerous jurisdictions.• Technical Support: Primary job function as SQL Reporting, Support, Implementation, and Development role. Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2000, 7.0 and 6.5. Provided primary, high-level technical support to all of our product and software support personnel. I was considered the final authority relative to release and support of the election management system. Served as the Technical Project Manager of Chicago/Cook County for 2006 election year (the largest account in our company’s history). Previous assignments included primary support of Santa Clara County, California (2003-04) and Palm Beach County, Florida (2002).• Server and Infrastructure design: Designed and installed the election management server systems. Accounts include (Chicago/Cook County, Santa Clara (San Jose), Washoe County (Reno), 4 counties in Florida (including Tampa, Palm Beach, St. Petersburg), State of Nevada, most of the State of New Jersey). Familiar with hardware and software clustered and stand-alone server systems (primarily Dell and HP).• Training: Trained every major customer on our proprietary software package, as well as basic Microsoft SQL 2000 and operating system functionality.
