Notable verdicts:A Nashville jury returned a verdict of 5 million dollars on behalf of my client whose 22 month old died of an undiagnosed tick bite infection. The mother had taken her son to the doctor 4 days in a row, only to be sent home. The jury assessed 50% of fault against the pediatrician's office, and 50% of the fault against the hospital.A Rutherford County jury returned a verdict on behalf of my client for nearly 3 million dollars in a car wreck case. Defense had only offered $275,000. News reports state that this verdict was the largest car crash verdict in Rutherford County history. This is one of multiple record breaking verdicts that I have been a part of in my practice.A Chattanooga jury awarded 22.6 million dollar jury verdict - which was the largest medical malpractice verdict in Tennessee history for an individual person at that time.
