AlayaCare is a provider of revolutionary cloud-based home health care software.As Director, I was responsible for the successful removal of the fundamental, frustrating roadblocks engineering typically encounters when simply trying to solve issues that are in front of them.I led the creation of the new developer experience group, focused on supporting the four pillars of a mature development process: Onboarding, Development, Validation & Deployment. I removed silos within the members of the group & our clients (engineering), reinforced our mission and focused on top-down transparency to enable roadmap alignment and trust. I created a leadership framework focusing on group’s execution and problems to solve. I made key decisions, established expectations and kept my group’s leadership accountable to them. I managed the leadership staff of my group and I set OKRs & KPIs which propagated downwards. I organized, defined and collaborated on initiatives roadmaps. As Director of Quality at AlayaCare, I moved the needle forwards in several areas of quality engineering. As Scrum Master, QA and Test Automator for several hybris apps (iOS and Android), I was part of a scrum team developing mobile platforms for our partners to extend, and to showcase hybris innovation.
