Responsible to oversee and manage all new build outs and assist in the development of Sangster's Health Centres & Sangster's Organic Markets, renovations of existing stores and to build and support the franchise system according to Sangster's brand standards. Major Accountabilities: - Manage and oversee the completion of new store construction and the renovation/remodeling of existing stores across Canada, USA and Internationally.- Responsible for scheduling of all new store build outs, renovations and all franchise renewals.- Manage and maintain department's budget and documentation.- Manage and update Sangster's Franconnect system & franchising virtual brochure.- Negotiate, manage and tender lease contract terms and strike the best deal for all corporate and franchisee leases. - Estimating store opening dates and costing of projects.- Researching, locating, and inspecting potential franchise store locations to lease.- Knowledge and understanding of the Sangster's brand and implementing the brand image into new store build outs and renovations to existing stores.- Maintain and prepare all franchise documents. - Report to the President in all areas relating to franchising and business development for the brand and company.- Knowledge and understanding of the Company's core values and mission statement.- Maintain relationships with franchisees and store managers.- Maintain and prepare all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.- Knowledge of and implement Company's standards of operational policies and procedures.- Manage the on-going calendar for franchisee renewals and lease renewals.- Manage and maintain miscellaneous correspondence to franchisees from landlords, insurance brokers and etc.- Responsible for managing and handling confidential information.

Canada & Internationally

Responsible to market, acquire and follow up with potential new franchisees, (All of Canada and Internationally), and award franchise licenses to approved potential franchisees.Major Accountabilities: - Utilize expertise and business acumen to help develop relationships with potential franchisees.- Manage and direct the franchise sales process from start to finish.- Sell new and resale franchises to prospects in assigned regions.- Explain franchise brand offerings and support using marketing materials and store tours.- Host potential new franchisees at Head Office for Discovery Day tours.- Manage and prepare franchise paperwork for sales.- Plan and attend regional franchise shows and seminars.- Maintain relationships with existing franchisees and managers.- Provide guidance in the development of franchise growth, affiliations and partnership arrangements.- Utilize franchise development lead generation system and maintain prospective franchisee data and other sales data in the franchise development lead generation system.- Prepare reports of business transactions and keeping expense accounts.- Investigate and resolve franchisees problems and issues.

The Education Advisory Committee’s mandate is to provide leadership and guidance to CFA Management staff in determining CFA’s educational offerings to ensure it meets members’ current and future needs. The committee’s work will contribute to CFA’s Strategic goals, specifically Imperative #4: “Being the best source for education on franchising”. The committee will:1. Review and evaluate CFA’s current educational programs to enhance content and/or member participation (year to year).2. Identify gaps where additional education may be required.3. Evaluate and assess other opportunities as they are presented to CFA.4. Assist in evaluating marketing efforts to ensure they are compelling and effective.5. Evaluate and make recommendations to continue the development, evolution and retirement of educational programs.6. Provide advice on ad hoc education matters as they arise on general education topics such as concurrent session content and event speakers.
