As Data / Operations Manager with Smart City Networks, I administered and maintained computer networks and related computing environments, including applications and systems software, computer hardware, and all configurations, to enhance performance and end-user access. I operated master consoles to track the performance of computer networks and systems, as well as to coordinate computer network access and use. I diagnosed, troubleshot, and resolved computer software, hardware, and other network and system issues, in addition to replacing any defective components. I implemented security measures for information and computer systems; I configured, maintained, and monitored virus protection software and email applications. I created and performed electronic data backups, as well as conducted disaster recovery operations, to prevent loss of information.  Some of my key contributions include the following:  I planned and deployed a wireless upgrade, tripling the amount of Wi-Fi coverage available to visiting attendees.  I received the Certificate of Appreciation from the White House Communications Agency for helping with the President’s visit to Phoenix and providing IT services for a rally.

As Project Manager for IES Communications, I managed information technology (IT) project and system activity execution to certify adherence to and compliance with established budget, schedule, and scope parameters. I assessed present and future customer needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, and utilizing other methods of data collection. I formulated comprehensive project plans, as well as tracked and monitored project milestones and deliverables. I collaborated and conferred with project peers and colleagues to identify and resolve any IT issues or problems. I supervised other IT staff members. I submitted project deliverables, confirming adherence to and compliance with all standards for quality.  Some of my key contributions include the following:  I completed a nationwide (i.e., 34-state) rollout upgrade to VoIP for a major food retailer, including 1,500+ locations with a team of ~100 technicians installing 25 to 30 stores per night.  I completed a nationwide (i.e., 41-state) rollout upgrade to VoIP for a major bank, including 750 locations with a team of ~50 technicians installing 10 to 15 stores per night.

As Operations Manager with Broadband Ventures DBA Wavevision, I directed and coordinated all activities of organizational businesses and departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and distribution of product offerings. I analyzed and reviewed activity and sales reports, financial statements and records, and other performance data and information to measure productivity and the attainment of all targets and objectives, as well as to identify any areas in need of program improvement or cost reduction. I prepared work assignments and schedules for all staff members, as well as assigned specific duties to these. I monitored suppliers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of needed goods and services within set budget parameters. I oversaw administrative activities directly related to making products and providing services. I supervised sales, marketing, and customer service activities.  Some of my key contributions include the following:  I maintained and serviced 15 cell service sites, as well as provided service for 4,000 customers in areas typically unable to obtain high-speed internet.  I completed training from Comtrain USA to become a Competent Level of Tower Safety and Rescue.
