First and foremost my role was to protect fans, players, staff, the team, and the ballpark itself. On a regular basis I screened patrons and staff through various methods (e.g., walk-through and handheld metal detectors, pat-downs, and bag checks) as well as monitored entrances and exits within the ballpark to assure access was limited to only credentialed individuals. Other tasks I performed in include transporting and guarding World Series trophies, observing the behavior of patrons to assess potential risks and predict their needs, escorting players as needed, controlling vehicular traffic around the ballpark and assisting with ejections. I was further trusted to operate and monitor the security CCTV cameras and support daily ballpark operations.

Boston, Massachusetts

At times my role was to provide intelligence briefings after assessing the dangerousness of individuals and/or organizations. I performed detainer checks on all state inmates pending federal sentencing in the state of Massachusetts. I was further tasked with analyzing internal reviews and summarized information pertaining to areas where improvement was needed. During my time there I participated in a scenario based medical training simulation, assisted in the training of Deputy U.S. Marshals, served as the point of contact for and organized intern background checks, and created a deputy U.S. Marshal recruitment presentation. Supplementing various administrative and operational tasks was also a part of my daily work.

Washington D.C.

While at INTERPOL Washington I served as the intern assigned to the compliance division at the United States National Central Bureau (USNCB). In order to perform my assigned tasks I received training in NCIC, TECS, and CLEAR. I validated and approved NCIC entries in an effort to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information to law enforcement across the country. I went through and looked over the case statuses on cases that have paper files to ensure they are being maintained with the most current information available. I was also tasked with with organizing the file room by reviewing and destroying old files. During this process I interacted and worked with the supervisors and caseworkers from all of the other divisions.

Lyon Station, Pennsylvania

I worked in East Penn's Continuous Improvement Department. I work alongside other SPC Technicians, Quality Auditors, Department Supervisors, and Plant Managers. My job was to schedule and perform Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) Tests in all departments that dealt with Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) Batteries or parts, including lead oxide, that were used in AGM Batteries. This was done to ensure that the Gages, being used to take measurements, were providing the same results and that there was little to no difference in results between the Quality Auditors taking the measurements. My results were then entered into Excel, from where they were transferred into MiniTab. Once in MiniTab the results were run through a variety of different studies depending on the type of Gage that was used to take the measurements.
