Build bills of material for large projects in several industrial sub-vertical markets. Negotiate with vendors for best value for customers. Assemble submittal packages and reconcile any differences between quote and contract. Take ownership of projects from quote to final acceptance from end user. Work with existing customers to uncover new sales opportunities. Follow up with customers to ensure materials are delivered on time and all expectations are met or exceeded.

Create electrical layouts and schematics for industrial controls. Apply NEC, UL508A, NFPA79. Create designs with Auto CAD Electrical. Work as a team to verify design and to meet customer specification. Apply electrical principals to designs. Mentor and supervise junior designers.

As a Co-Op preform electrical design to include one line diagrams, panel diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, and manipulating raster files to create new drawings. Over the year here I have been mentored and have brought my skills up to a level that I am now a valuable part of the team.
