I'm looking for a position in the IT field as a network administrator or sysadmin. Over the time I have been Operations Manager at a small non-profit, my job has taken on more and more IT roles, and I now have full oversight of the organization's new and legacy IT. I recently started on the certification route to codify what I know, and I've earned the CompTIA A+ ce & Network+ ce certifications. I'm studying more in the networking and security fields. After 23 years experience with Windows (starting with 3.1!), I'm now emulating and exploring UNIX, Linux, and macOS. I'm a quick learner with languages, and I've done troubleshooting on projects involving HTML, SQL, and PHP. I'm proud of the processes I've automated in MS Excel, where I've taken forms our funders give us to report our client work, and through macros and lots of formulas, substantially reduced how many times we have to enter the same data, or search through the same webform.I'm especially adept at explaining tech to non-tech people through analogies, and making a lot happen with not a lot of resources.
