With 25 years’ experience, I am an effective and proven advocate who provides an edge in complex commercial and public law disputes. I have appeared at all levels of the New Zealand court system and in numerous arbitrations and mediations. I also have a specialist international law and dispute resolution practice, focused on the Asia-Pacific region. I have recognised expertise in public and private international law, cross-border litigation and international arbitration, as well as international trade law, having founded and led Chapman Tripp's international law team. I teach civil procedure at Victoria University of Wellington, convene the NZLS Civil Litigation and Tribunals Committee and am a member of the Rules Committee.
