The bulk of our clientele includes litigating construction contracts, non-compete/trade secret defense and prosecution, community association class action defense, general contracts, and real property.The bulk of my responsibilities include: (1) drafting Complaints, other Pleadings, and Motions for the Client, (2) researching complex questions of law that have not been answered affirmatively by the courts, (3) drafting legal opinions or memorandums outlining and advising clients and senior attorneys on the questions of law, (4) drafting legal briefs, closing arguments, discovery requests/responses, responses, replies, settlement agreements, and contracts to obtain favorable outcomes for our clients, (5) interacting and coordinating with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel, and third parties, to obtain strategic and beneficial outcomes for the client, (6) conferring and coordinating directly with the Firm/Litigation Department's Managing Partner to proffer, oppose, outline, and incorporate, strategic litigation decisions for our client, and (7) coordinating, litigating, and participating in mediation and construction arbitration. Some of my successes in my current role include: (1) consistently exceeding my billable hour goal, (2) drafting a motion for the Managing Partner to argue a favorable outcome in dissolving a fraudulent construction lien, (3) planning and participating in mediating an estate challenge involving a dispute over negotiable instruments, and (4) successfully defeating motions for summary judgment with motions for summary judgment leading to a voluntary dismissal.

Representing the State of Florida in the prosecution of misdemeanor offenses in Suwanee, Madison, and Hamilton County. Manage a docket case load of 200+ in determining the State's position on whether enough facts and allegations were present to prosecute cases ranging from misdemeanor traffic offenses (reckless driving, DUI, driving without a license), to drug possession cases, to misdemeanor battery. Successfully negotiated 1000+ plea offers between the three counties.

Drafted Orders regarding: Habeas Corpus Petitions, Social Security Appeals, Section 1983 Claims, Trade Secrets, Misappropriation Claims, and Certificates of Appealability. Verified grammar and legally proposed purpose in order to assist the author in presenting a cohesive and complete article. Supervised and delegated work to an Assistant Galleys Editor to complete the editing of three separate articles during the course of my tenure.

Created and Implemented Moot Court Newsletter. Continued to Compile Alumni Information Database to Bridge the Gap Between the Current Members of the Moot Court and its Alumni

Drafted Pleadings and Motions that gained favorable outcomes for our clients; researched various topics, including: HIPAA, Admissibility of Evidence, Spoliation, Sanctions, and Premises Liability in order to better inform both our clients, the judiciary and opposing counsel of the applicable laws.
